Deleting Your Collared Account

Delete your account from within the app

1. Open Collared and sign in.
2. Go to Settings (the menu icon in the top left).
3. Open your Profile.
4. Tap Delete account.
5. Verify your identity:
   • Email/password accounts: re-enter your password.
   • Apple or Google accounts: confirm with Apple or Google when prompted.
6. Confirm deletion. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Don't have access to the app?

If you can no longer sign in or no longer have the app installed, you can still request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@collar-app.com from the email address associated with your account. We will verify your request and process the deletion.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove your account and the data associated with it from our active systems, including:

• Your account and profile information
• Your habits, tasks, goals, rewards, and punishments
• Your notes and messages
• Your photos and other uploaded content
• Your partner connections and shared history

If you are connected to a partner, your partner will lose access to any history shared with you.

What is kept, and for how long

After deletion, we take reasonable steps to permanently delete your account data from active systems. As described in our Privacy Policy, we may retain certain limited information where necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, operational, or backup-related reasons. Some limited backup copies may persist for a short period before they are fully removed.

A note on subscriptions

If you have an active Collared Pro subscription, deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel your subscription through your Apple or Google Play subscription settings to avoid further charges.
